  At Swadeshi Village the fashioning and design of our products is enhanced by years of experience crafting apparel.  Beauty will be found in the utility and fit of our simple designs.

Lasting

  We are of the opinion that keeping things simple makes it easier to produce products that last. Starting with a simple design we forge our products out of premium materials that

• are durable
• easy to care for
• and will hold up in the wash

Our experience stitching quality apparel will be evident when you examine our products and find

• stretch fabrics sewn with 4 and 5 thread overlock machines that give you a "safety" stitch
• critical seams that are reinforced by adding an extra "coverstitch"
• shoulder seams that are either stitched down or sewn with reinforced tape
• hems that are "tacked" to keep them from unraveling

Comfort

  Comfort is our hallmark. We begin the process of crafting comfortable apparel by selecting premium materials that allow for ease of movement. "Stretch" fabrics and "ribbed" materials are favorites. Then a lot of time is spent sampling our ideas until we feel we have the right fit. We then use our knowledge of stitching to construct garments in such a way that one doesn't have to contend with bothersome seams. We think comfort at every stage.
